Aon to Acquire USI Insurance Services for $17 Billion

Aon is acquiring USI Insurance Services in a $17 billion deal. The insurance brokerage announced the agreement on Monday. Private equity firm KKR is selling USI Insurance Services. Mega buyouts have become more typical in the industry. Other insurance sector activities include Inszone Insurance Services acquiring D.B. Insurance Services, LLC. This expands Inszone's national network. Inszone Insurance Services also acquired Aviza Insurance Agency, strengthening its farm and agribusiness presence in Coldwater, Michigan. Aviza Insurance Agency, founded in 1966, serves Coldwater, Michigan, and the surrounding Tri-State area with personal and commercial coverage. Inszone further acquired Harris Insurance Services, strengthening its personal lines presence in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Separately, Mavrix Insurance Services introduced Millie, a proprietary AI-enabled platform built into its brokerage. Millie functions as both an AI agent and the AI. PCF Insurance Services plans to rebrand as Trucordia with a new growth strategy. Previously, PCF Insurance Services focused on size and scale, with independently operated offices.
