Boeing Sees Strong Sell Signal Amid Delivery Growth
By EC Assets · Published
Boeing's technical analysis indicates a strong sell signal across daily, weekly, and hourly charts. Investing.com published this analysis on September 10, 2026. This technical assessment suggests a negative outlook for the aircraft manufacturer's stock. Despite this technical signal, Boeing has shown other positive operational developments. The company reported a robust 63% year-over-year increase in aircraft deliveries for February. Boeing shipped 44 jets in February, up from 27 during the same month last year. These strong delivery figures support the outlook for both the 737 MAX and 787 models. Boeing also maintained a strong delivery pace in October, delivering 53 jets. This brought its year-to-date total to 493. The U.S. planemaker delivered 39 of its 737 MAX jets in October and received 15 new orders that month. Boeing has also seen significant order activity. The company secured an order from Alaska Airlines for over 100 planes. This helped Boeing start the year on a positive note. Robust demand, progress in production ramp-up, and resumed deliveries to China are fueling the stock's momentum. April orders were modest but did not raise concerns. The Boeing 777X model is also surprising with strong momentum. Earlier, the 777X timeline showed the company encountering problems, leading to delays in service entry and cost overruns. Looking ahead, Boeing anticipates strong demand for planes in China. The company's 2024 outlook projects China's commercial airplane fleet will more than double by 2043. This expansion means the fleet would reach 9,740 planes. China is expected to receive 8,830 new planes, primarily driven by strong demand for single-aisle jets. Investors and market participants will likely monitor upcoming delivery figures and order announcements. Continued production ramp-up and further developments regarding the 777X program could influence Boeing's market performance. Analysts remain mixed on Boeing's prospects.
