Critical Metals Shares React to Greenland Mining Developments
By EC Assets · Published
Critical Metals Corp. shares experienced significant trading activity following news related to Greenland. The company's stock rose 13% on Monday morning after it announced receiving Greenland mining approval. Shares of Critical Metals Corp. climbed 27% in premarket trading on Monday. The surge was linked to President Donald Trump’s announcement of an agreement with Denmark concerning security arrangements for Greenland. Critical Metals had previously seen its stock soar 38% as President Trump’s Greenland pact put the Tanbreez mine in focus. This security agreement may provide the U.S. with more reason to boost Greenland's mining projects. On Tuesday, Critical Metals shares dropped 6%. This reversal followed the surge from the Greenland security deal. The entire bull case for Critical Metals Corp. may depend on funding. The Tanbreez project requires approximately $500 million in Greenland CapEx and an additional $1 billion downstream. This amount significantly exceeds the company's $87 million in pro forma cash. Greenland Mines Ltd. a separate entity, completed a three-day development planning workshop for its Skaergaard project. This workshop involved more than fifteen international experts.
