Drug developer Electra Therapeutics targets a valuation of up to $977.6 million in its U.S. initial public offering. This move extends a comeback in biotech listings this year. The company is based in South San Francisco, California. Electra Therapeutics seeks to raise as much as $346.7 million. It plans to offer about 21.67 million shares in the IPO. The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company will price shares between $14 and $16 apiece. The midpoint of the share price range is $15. Electra Therapeutics aims to fund the clinical development of its inflammatory disorder drug, ipsoprubart, through phase 3. The company also supports its immunology and cancer pipeline with the IPO. Electra Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. It focuses on pioneering a new class of precision medicines. These medicines treat immune-mediated diseases and cancer. The company recently announced the initiation of a Phase 1 trial for ELA822. ELA822 is a novel SIRPγ-specific antibody designed to treat T cell-mediated immune and inflammatory diseases. This asset is the second clinical-stage product generated from the company's proprietary library of SIRP-targeted antibodies.
