Goldman Sachs Initiates EU Luxury Coverage, Rates Four Stocks as Buy

Goldman Sachs has initiated coverage of the European luxury sector, assigning "Buy" ratings to four specific stocks. The firm's new coverage focuses on companies within the European luxury market. Goldman Sachs has also recently made other analytical calls. It added Amazon to its conviction list of most-preferred stocks on Thursday, setting a 12-month price target of $375 for the e-commerce giant. Goldman analysts noted the $375 price. The firm additionally advised investors to buy the dip in five stocks this week, suggesting they take advantage of recent declines. Goldman Sachs also named three top oil stock picks for 2026. U.S. refiners benefit from geopolitical risks, supply disruptions, and rising oil prices, with these oil companies showing strong returns and margins. In its own financial performance, Goldman Sachs reported Q2 net revenues of approximately $20.34 billion. The firm achieved a 23.5% return on equity and $6.63 billion in net earnings during the quarter. Goldman Sachs has also emerged as the lead bidder to acquire a credit manager overseeing $37 billion.
