Heineken Appoints Rafael Oliveira as New CEO

Heineken has nominated Rafael Oliveira as its new Chief Executive Officer. The Dutch beer maker announced the nomination on Tuesday. Oliveira will join Heineken for a four-year period starting October 1. Oliveira is the first outsider ever appointed as CEO of Heineken. He will step down as CEO of JDE Peet's N.V. to take on the new role. JDE Peet's N.V. is a global coffee and tea company headquartered in Amsterdam. Oliveira has served as CEO of JDE Peet's since November 2024. He was previously head of international markets at Kraft Heinz. The Supervisory Board of Heineken N.V. announced Oliveira's nomination as the company's new Chair of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer. He was involved in the acquisition of JDE Peet's by Keurig Dr Pepper. The appointment makes Heineken one of several alcoholic drinks makers to seek new leadership.
