Anthropic reportedly agreed to spend $13.7 billion over six years for Rumble's computing capacity. Rumble gained approximately 22,000 Nvidia GPUs through its acquisition of Northern Data. As part of this deal, Anthropic will deploy 2 gigawatts of AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs. The U.S. government ordered Anthropic to immediately shut off access to two of its most powerful AI models on Friday. These models were Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5. The order cited national security concerns. A published report stated that Anthropic was profitable for a second consecutive quarter, though it included a significant caveat. Retail sentiment for SPY and QQQ has dipped into 'extremely bearish' territory. This follows debates over AI 'pacing'. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has called for slowing down frontier artificial-intelligence development. Investor response to these calls was negative, but not catastrophic, on Monday.
