EC Assets Begins Long-Term Support for an Orphanage in Bali

Between meetings in Bali, the team made a different kind of stop. Members of EC Assets visited a local orphanage with something small in hand: a bag of Haribo gummy bears for the children there.

The reaction said more than any planned moment could. The children gathered around, sang for the visitors, and thanked the team several times over. Nothing about it was staged.

That afternoon is also where a longer commitment begins. The plan is to support the orphanage on an ongoing basis, well beyond a single visit. What that support looks like will be shaped together with the people running the institution day in, day out. The children and the staff who care for them every day deserve continuity rather than a single afternoon.

This reflects how the team operates wherever work takes it. In every city with appointments on the calendar, time is set aside for local initiatives that matter to the community on the ground. Bali joins that list now. The format changes from place to place. The intent does not.

Showing up once is easy. Showing up again, and again, is what makes the real difference for the people on the receiving end.

The work in Bali continues from here.
