EC Assets Hosts Clients and Friends at Munich Oktoberfest 2026

The most valuable hours in this business rarely appear on a calendar invite.
That was the idea behind an afternoon in Munich this autumn. During the Oktoberfest, EC Assets invited clients and friends to join the team at the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke, with one aim: to build closer relationships away from the desk.
There was no agenda. No slides, no market outlook, no performance discussion. Just good company, a shared table and a few relaxed hours in one of the festival's more intimate tents.
For most of the year, the relationship between a manager and its investors runs through documents. Reports, letters, data rooms. They carry the information. They rarely carry the people.
An afternoon at the Wiesn does. In these unstructured hours, familiarity turns into trust.
The festival around that table had a remarkable year of its own.
The 191st Oktoberfest closed on 4 October with around 7.4 million visitors, according to the city of Munich. That is the highest attendance in its history, ahead of the 7.2 million recorded in 2023 and well above last year's 6.5 million.
Consumption kept pace. Around 6.7 million litres of beer were poured over 16 days, 2.7% more than in 2025, at up to €15.90 per Maß in the large tents.
The economic footprint reaches far beyond the Theresienwiese. Before the gates opened, the city estimated the festival's total economic value at almost €1.6 billion, spread across hotels, restaurants, transport and retail throughout Munich.
That is a striking return for a tradition whose format has barely changed in two centuries. It succeeds by doing one simple thing well, year after year.
The firm thanks everyone who joined and looks forward to raising a glass together again next year.
Good relationships, like good traditions, are built by showing up.
