EC Assets Backs Monaco Cricket Club at the Start of Its Journey
By EC Assets · Published · Updated
Cricket has a quiet history in Monaco. The Monte Carlo Cricket Club was active here once before, then fell dormant for years as players moved on and the game slipped out of the Principality.
It has now returned.
Driven by a growing international community and a new generation of players, the club has resumed competitive fixtures and set out to rebuild cricket as a lasting part of Monaco's sporting life.
The ambition reaches well beyond the occasional match. The club aims to develop youth, senior and competitive sides capable of taking part in regional and wider European cricket, and to do it as a place open to players of every age, nationality and level of experience.
That openness is part of why the project resonates. Cricket in this corner of the Riviera is not about heritage or spectacle. It is about giving a varied, international community a shared game to gather around.
EC Assets is proud to support the club as it re-establishes itself, and to back a sporting institution being rebuilt patiently from the ground up.
A club is not always founded once. Sometimes it is founded twice.
