Stellantis Shares Fall After Berenberg Downgrade

By EC Assets · Published

Stellantis NV shares are declining 2.8% and trading at €4.364. This movement follows Berenberg's downgrade of the stock from Buy to Hold on Tuesday. Berenberg also reduced its price target to €5.10. Stellantis has recently focused on its Jeep division, unveiling the 2027 Wrangler JL-2A special edition. Stellantis shares have fallen approximately 80% from their 2024 peak. The market is pricing in prolonged operational failure rather than a credible recovery. The automaker has a $70 billion turnaround strategy in place. Despite a significant three-year decline of 70% in its stock, Stellantis presents an asymmetric opportunity at €4.79 per share. This opportunity requires only an adequate turnaround, not a full return to 2023 economics. The second quarter did not complete the company's turnaround efforts.
