Suedzucker Raises Full-Year Revenue Forecast After Q1 Earnings Jump

By EC Assets · Published

Suedzucker has increased its full-year revenue forecast after reporting a rise in operating core earnings for its first quarter. The company, Europe's largest sugar producer, also registered reduced costs during the quarter. This marks an adjustment to its financial outlook. For the fiscal year 2026/27, Suedzucker now anticipates slightly higher revenue than previously forecast. The company raised its revenue forecast range by €100 million, setting it between €8.1 billion and €8.5 billion. The first quarter saw operating core earnings rise, linked to reduced costs. Despite the positive earnings development, Suedzucker's first-quarter revenue decreased due to lower sugar sales and prices. The company reported a 40% increase in EBITDA, reaching 135 million Euro by the end of June. Suedzucker had earlier reported a significant jump in its first quarter earnings.
