TSX Futures Decline Amid Gold Price Drop, Geopolitical Focus

TSX futures registered a decline today as gold prices fell. Broader market futures also showed weakness, with Mideast peace hopes and escalating tensions drawing investor attention. Futures for Canada's S&P/TSX Composite Index dipped. This occurred amid a fall in gold prices. The dip in TSX futures was also noted after the index had posted its fourth straight monthly gain. Other market movements included a 3.04% dip for BAC, a 3.42% dip for JPM, and a 6.11% dip for SCHW. Bitcoin and Ethereum prices opened near 8-month highs on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
