Defense Contractor Lyntris Raises $298 Million in Downsized US IPO

Defense contractor Lyntris Inc. and its backers raised about $298 million in a downsized U.S. initial public offering. The offering priced below its marketed range. Lyntris and some of its backers had previously sought to raise as much as $528 million. The company is a defense technology firm. Lyntris filed for the U.S. IPO. The Falls Church, Virginia, based company is backed by Trive Capital. Lyntris reported a net loss of $13 million on revenue of $241 million.
