UniCredit engaged Riccardo Orcel, the brother of its CEO Andrea Orcel, to facilitate a recent agreement regarding its Russian operations. Riccardo Orcel previously served as a senior banker at the state-backed VTB Group in Russia. UniCredit confirmed that Riccardo Orcel presented a proposal concerning the bank's Russian business.
