US Antimony Approves $100 Million Stock Repurchase

United States Antimony Corporation's board of directors has approved a share repurchase program. The company may repurchase up to $100 million of its existing and outstanding common stock. UAMY shares gained following this announcement. United States Antimony also filed for a $100 million mixed securities shelf. Several companies have announced share repurchase plans recently. SK Hynix embarked on a $29 billion buyback. The South Korean memory, chip company suggested its stock was too cheap after a sharp selloff. SK Hynix stated current share prices do not reflect its intrinsic value. Treasury also announced an upscaled buyback operation for longer, term debt, sending yields lower.
